Grimaldo’s Mile 2022 was a success! Thank you everyone who joined us. It was inspiring to see everything from newbies tackling their first race, to experienced swimmers really posting some remarkable times! And we especially want to thank all of our wonderful volunteers who really make this possible. It was an honor to have Grimaldo’s family join us again this year. Breezy Point – Saturday, July 30, 2022
Ever looked over at Breezy Point while relaxing at Brighton Beach and thought man, how fun would it be to swim across the channel? Well, you can. Our Breezy Point swim is a fun 5K that starts on the beach at Breezy Point and ends at the Aquarium in Coney Island. You’ll boat over there, jump in, swim back! And you’ll be a channel swimmer! This swim has limited space and is open to experienced CIBBOWS members only, as it does cross the channel and safety is paramount. Your registration will be evaluated and will not guarantee entry. Sign up early to have a better chance at a spot! Registrations are at capacity and are now being evaluated.
