Actually, there are clinics for advanced swimmers! I teach (and invented!) swim clinics for CIBBOWS called “Jetty Drills” which are for swimmers who can comfortably do a mile in open water but are looking for something extra. We usually head to the pier and back, 1-2miles depending on the currents and ability of the group. I do some drills to both improve form and to expand your training techniques. FYI, I also have private clients that I train at the beach.
