ParticipantHello!
For those participating in the Intro Clinics, here is a general list of things to consider bringing to the beach (not required!):– goggles (well, these are somewhat required as they are very helpful to facilitate sighting in the ocean)
– sunscreen or an SPF rash guard if you prefer
– Body Glide/Aquaphor/Vaseline/Desitin to avoid chafing under arms or around wetsuit openings (if you wear one – it’s not required!)
– water to stay hydrated
– a towel or blanket to stand/sit on
– a towel for drying off (if you prefer)
– a hot drink (if this is your first time in this season, you may feel cold after you get out)
– warm layers (again, you may want to warm up)
– a large plastic bag – if it rains, this will keep your items dry while you swim (yes, we swim in rain!)
– a small dry bag or plastic bag for your valuables (we’ll show you best practice for towing them in your buoy)
– a swim buoy (if you are a new member and haven’t received one yet, we may have a few on beach although it is not guaranteed)Testing the Forum out as a way to communicate with clinic participants, please let us know if it is useful. Thanks!

ParticipantIs there any way to waitlist for the intro clinic this coming Saturday on the July 22nd? I’d love to be able to come but I also wasn’t able to find out how to waitlist.
