Hello everyone. I was hoping that we would have the Triple D
ip swim this September. It is a beautiful capstone for the summer of swimming. If triple dip does not occur, can anyone suggest a 2–3 mile event in the Metropolitan area in September, that doesn’t have rigid timing/speed requirements?

which used to be the Lake Hopatcong Swim (they moved it to nearby Lake Mohawk).
I can’t vouch for the rigidity/timing requirements, but maybe reach out to the organizers?

I was cleared to enter the Freedom to liberty Swim (lower Manhattan to Statue of Liberty) If anyone has swam in that event, could you share experience?
