Sharon Gunderson
Sharon started as a marathon swimmer herself, and then moved into the kayaker role, which she loves. She has circumnavigated Manhattan with many swimmers (20 Bridges), gone down the Hudson and Potomac Rivers (8 Bridges and DC Marathon Swim), threaded through NY Harbor (Ederle), and enjoyed Pittsburgh (Three Rivers Marathon Swim), as well as supported many CIBBOWS events on both SUP and kayak. She understands what it means and feels like to be in the water, and on a vessel. Contact her for coaching, practice training swims along the Brighton/ Coney shoreline, or general advice!
