Constance Sasso

In by Jacqueline Broner

Constance SassoDrawn to water as a child, Constance did not learn to swim until she was 19. Her first ocean swim where her feet couldn’t touch the ground wasn’t until she found CIBBOWS in 2015 while training for her first season as a triathlete. Now hooked on ocean swimming, she aims to share her love for open water swimming and the opportunities CIBBOWS has given her with others!
When not swimming, Constance is part of NYRR’s Open Run program as a Run Captain and she is a member of Brooklyn Tri Club. She taught adults how to ride horses through Cornell University’s athletic program to support her combined training addiction.
By the way, she is still scared of things touching her in the water and has been known to squeal underwater if this happens.  Doesn’t stop her from going in anyways.
