A lifelong ocean frolicker and noncompetitive swimmer, Mary Ellen plunged in to her first open water swim in the Hudson in 2003, and was hooked. She attended a CIBBOWS swim clinic in 2013 and has been a member since then, finding that the camaraderie and support of CIBBOWS multiplies the joy. Mary Ellen holds a WOWSA Open Water Swimming Coaches Certification.
